BGMI 'Game Responsibly' campaign launched

    Krafton has put out a new video called GAME RESPONSIBLY, which is highlighting parental controls. It is being shown that children below the age of 18 years will need the approval of their parents to play the game, for which they will have to enter the OTP received on the parents' phone.

    Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) developer Krafton has launched a new "Game Responsibly" campaign. It is highlighting other features including parental controls present in the new version of the game, with the help of which players will be able to play the game by saving themselves from addiction.

    Parental Control Children below 18 years of age will have to go through the process of OTP verification to keep the game running. The virtual world's warning and break reminders and game-play limits in the game will help maintain game-life balance. Along with this, the daily spend limit present in BGMI will prevent players from spending more money than necessary.

    BGMI says that it has also changed the graphics inside the game to inculcate a healthy and responsible gaming culture. Violence, bloodshed has been reduced in the game as well as parameters have been set that takes into account the language, he said.

    It is being said that the game developer will bring out many more videos under this campaign, which will motivate the players to take care of the mental health of themselves and their teammates. The first video of this campaign is available on the official YouTube channel of Battlegrounds Mobile India.

    In the coming videos, we can also get to see about other anti-addiction features of BGMI. Currently, when you start the game, you are given a warning that it is a virtual world. There is also a game-play limit of 3 hours per day for children below 18 years of age. The game developer also provides break reminders to the players to encourage them towards maintaining the game-life balance. Along with this, a limit of Rs 7,000 has also been imposed on game expenses for younger players.
