PUBG Mobile can be launched soon in India

    Last week 59 Chinese apps were banned permanently in India. PUBG Mobile was not a part of these apps.

    PUBG Mobile India will be launched, it remains the biggest mystery of the Indian gaming industry.  After the PUBG Mobile ban in September last year, The announcement of the new PUBG Mobile India by Krafton brought back excitement among gamers that another news comes in early in the new year, speculating that perhaps PUBG Mobile India should not be back soon. Now fresh new reports have come out, according to which the Indian government has permanently banned 59 Chinese apps, including TikTok.  However, there is hope for PUBG mobile players.

    Last week, a total of 59 apps have been banned permanently by the Indian government.  Till now, these apps were temporarily banned in India, but now there is no hope of their return.  Some of these big names are TikTok, WeChat, UC Browser, and Baidu.

    Now back sometime and remind you that in response to an RTI, MeiTY said that the government has not banned PUBG Mobile.  From that answer, it is estimated that MeiTY may have blocked public access to the game under Section 69A of the IT Act 2000.  In response to a query in the same RTI, the ministry had also said that there was no official interaction between PUBG Corp. and the government till that time.  In such a situation, the release of PUBG Mobile India can still be expected in India. 

    Let remind you that after PUBG BAN in India, PUBG Corporation announced that it will acquire PUBG Mobile from Tencent Games.  Subsequently PUBG Corp.  Had also started hiring for the Indian office.  In November, the developers showed through a teaser that PUBG Mobile would be launched in India soon.  Subsequently, the company also appointed Aneesh Aravind as the Country Manager of PUBG Mobile India.  From this, it is known that Krafton has made full preparations to bring PUBG Mobile India to India.
